How can Africa be cushioned from the global recession when our economies are tailored-made by Western economists? It’s said when America sneezes the world and especially Africa catches cold!! African foreign reserves are all in Western Banks and countries which are suffering recession, why wont we be affected? Remittances are withering and donor funds are dwindling drastically. The poor will remain poorer and there will be more hunger, famine and starvation..Africa and Africans must wake up. Let us develop our economic base and trade within Africa to strengthen the continent than still be colonize economically through foreign economic and trade policies !!!!
